Leslie McHenry is Applications Supervisor at XOS. For over a decade, Leslie has been helping leading laboratories and petroleum refineries around the world meet their testing needs. Leslie is an active member of the ASTM International community and has co-authored several ASTM XRF test methods. Prior to joining XOS, Leslie worked as a Petroleum Chemist at a North American petroleum refinery.

Julian D. Van Berkum

Julian D. van Berkum is the Technical Sales and Application Specialist at XOS, bringing over a decade of laboratory experience since 2011, including roles from chemical analyst to lab manager. He specializes in renewable fuel analysis, using MWD-XRF solutions to help customers achieve accurate results. Julian is an active member of ISO, IP, NEN, and DIN committees, contributing to industry standards. With a practical understanding of lab techniques and a customer-focused approach, he is a valuable resource for clients aiming to improve their measurements.

Satbir Nayar

Satbir Nayar is the Senior Product Manager at XOS, leading the U.S. applications team. With over 15 years of experience in sales and product management, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support customers' application needs. His diverse background spans industries such as SaaS, High-Performance Materials, and Automated Surface Finishing Systems. Satbir is certified in Pragmatic Product Marketing and Total Quality Management.

Christian Leedle

Christian Leedle is the Director of Sales at XOS, leveraging 10 years of global industry experience in the implementation of benchtop and online analytical equipment to drive process improvements. He has significant experience addressing the processing and analytical challenges of the petroleum and petrochemical markets, as well as challenges in parallel industries related to the broader energy transition. Prior to XOS focused efforts, he worked for a major global specialty chemical provider in technology development and system improvement implementation plans.

Dr. Ning Gao

Dr. Ning Gao is a globally recognized expert in X-ray optics and their applications and has over two decades of experience in advanced X-ray optics, particularly in polycapillary X-ray optics. He works closely with XOS customers, from leading OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) in material testing industry to end-users from universities and national labs in pioneering research fields, to find the optimal solutions for their application needs. Dr. Gao is active in analytical X-ray industry community and in collaboration with top scientists on many pioneering research and development projects, including the PIXL instrument on the recently launched Mars Perseverance Rover.

Brendan Waffle

With over 5 years of experience designing X-ray optics and repairing X-ray equipment, Brendan Waffle brings a proven track record of surpassing customer expectations and pioneering innovative solutions. Acknowledged as a strategic partner by XOS customers, Brendan goes beyond being just a consultant, demonstrating a unique ability to tailor customized solutions for national labs, universities, and X-ray equipment manufacturers.
